Over the years, I have spent (wasted) more money on face creams and assorted expensive beauty potions that promised that if I used the product, I would look fabulous forever. The promise made in ads had to be true because numerous reviews from satisfied women (with photos) swore the claims were true. Where did they find those lucky women? I have made up my mind; I will not pay a penny more for expensive cosmetic miracles that don’t deliver what’s promised.
I have found the ultimate beauty secret that has been around forever. I’ve often heard about its miraculous beauty benefits and often thought of trying it, but never got around to it. I was too busy smearing useless $100 cream on my face.
This miracle substance is castor oil. In the “olden days,” my father sold it in his drug store. It was a potent laxative. It was so popular that my father purchased it by the gallon, repackaged it, and labeled it. (Yes, that was allowed back then.)
Recently, I heard an “influencer” raving about it, so I decided to give it a try. (At the end of this article, I will give Amazon links to purchase the castor oil and equipment you will need to use it.
After one week of applying straight castor oil to my face, a wrinkle (aarrrrrrgh!) that was beginning to invade my right cheek has almost disappeared. The skin is nice and smooth. The other cheek had a bubbly wrinkle that was related to drainage under the eye. After one week of applying castor oil daily, it has diminished considerably. It’s almost flat and close to disappearing.
My neck is in remarkable condition but shows signs of aging. I have been using Strivectin for quite a while. Does it work? It’s okay, I guess. I decided to mix the Strivectin with castor oil in equal parts. To mix that concoction, you will need a glass mortar and pestle, which is available on Amazon. The result? I love it. The skin looks like young skin. It is soft and dewy but is not greasy.
You can also mix a larger amount of castor oil with your favorite body lotion. If you have wrinkly upper underarms, the result is fantastic. Kiss Crepe Erase goodbye.
Daily usage of castor oil will not show any results unless you stick with it. I’m 96, and since you are likely younger, you will be delighted in no time to see the result of using the castor oil or some castor oil mixture you concoct.
I make no promises here. I can’t guarantee that your body won’t reject it or produce a rash. If you have allergies, perhaps it’s not for you. What works for me may not work for you. But for me, it’s better than spending $100 for a product that promises the moon but can’t deliver. If you try it — (give it a month to work) and like or don’t like it, please let me know.
