Recently I wrote an article, "The Angst And Agony Of Disobeying Society's Age Rules," in which I criticized parents and in-laws who interfere in their adult children's lives. Usually, the "harassment" occurs after a daughter or son marries: "When are you going to give us grandbabies?" The pressure can be constant and annoying.

My position about parental interference made many subscribers angry, and they unsubscribed. I knew it would happen, but what I wrote needed to be said.

For example, In conservative political columns on the Internet such as The Epoch Times, if the current discussion is about COVID shots, you will better understand another reason why I'm so heated about family interference.

If you are at all in touch with what's happening in the world, you know that almost every day, there is notice that some healthy celebrity died suddenly from an "unknown" cause or suffered a disabling side effect. However, not EVER mentioned is that the possible cause is what has become known as the "kill shot." Yet, it is often still mandated by some employers and government agencies, even though the preplanned "pandemic" is over.

The Epoch Times reader's comments often show the reality of parental interference. Many commenters bitterly complained they got the shot only because of relentless pushing and prodding by fearful parents/grandparents. They regret having caved into family pressure and are now afraid of dying or suffering debilitating side effects. Unfortunately, there are far too many similar comments from adult children who got the shot to please Mama.

Many minimally informed parents and grandparents refuse to believe the government lies to us. They don't understand that the COVID charade had been pre-planned to help reduce the global population. However well intended, the opinions of poorly informed parents and grandparents should not be imposed on adult children or anyone else. Live and let live.
