I wish I’d felt inspired to craft some other writing this month, but I didn’t. You see, I was at my office in Midtown Manhattan on that splendid Tuesday, September 11, 2001. And now, 20 years later, consider what’s happening in our country (USA)—especially at the southern border allowed to be open for nearly nine months (and in many ways, still is), in Afghanistan, and around the globe at this time. Friends, the “bottle has been uncorked.” What’s coming is a topic readily found in the Bible, and which I’ll not address here, at least not now. [I beg you to see the links provided at the end for evidence that supports what I include below. Know this: I held back.]
The single most accurate written statement that summarizes what the current chaos and destruction is about, especially in the USA, is found in the first sentence of this excerpt from the remarkable book, Dark Covenant: How the Masses Are Being Groomed to Embrace the Unthinkable While Leaders of Organized Religion Make A Deal with the Devil, by the brilliant team, Donna Howell and Allie Henson. Here is the three-paragraph excerpt:
“Having abandoned common belief in a God who imposes absolute truth/moral law, we no longer have a common thread of right and wrong to unite us. [Bold font-emphasis mine.] See the following excerpt from Unscrambling the Millennial Paradox:
If there is no God, there is no standard by which morality is required to be measured. And if morality is left completely up to individual preferences [filtered through such subjectivities as “my truth’], then we can decide that acts previously considered sinful or even heinous are no longer immoral based upon personal enjoyment. [We can see this progression through the evolution of depravity portrayed on movies and media in comparison with increased conservatism of decades past]. Some individuals even escalate this philosophy by believing that God is a mere state of mind or other attribute found in each of us. Beyond this, people then were given a path by which they could literally choose their own reality, free of judgment from others. [Italics mine.]
“It has taken years for us to get here, but know one thing: Complicating truthful perspectives will be a tool used to groom the masses to embrace unthinkable deeds.”
It’s happening now, evidenced by social site tweets, shares, and comments, including from people who currently hold and formerly held office, and media who’ve added condemning and shaming to reporting news heavy with narrative and demands for unconstitutional actions.
I could add many things for context. Instead, as is said, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” I present two images for you. One is a photograph of what’s happening in real-time, and what is being pushed upon us, and especially our innocent children, pedal-to-the-metal. The other is a painting by Akiane (when she was 8), titled, “Prince of Peace.”
Jesus made clear that we have to choose who we will serve. Despite online false “debunking,” and I wish I could find my book that cites Spangler’s own book where he wrote this quote: “No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.” Please reread that quote—and let it sink in.

We are ALL only one breath away from where we will spend eternity. I suggest we keep Romans 10:13 in mind going forward: “All who call on the name of the LORD will be saved.” The LORD, to be clear, is Messiah Jesus and no other. Jesus Christ is the only One worthy to rule, the only One Who redeemed us, giving His ALL to do so.

Thanks for this article, Joyce. Our country is in terrible trouble. I never thought our golden years would be spent worrying about what will become of our beautiful USA and our world. I pray every day, multiple times to God. I feel that prayer and hope is all we have. There is so much hate and depravity now. I worry about what my granddaughter is going to have to face, what kind of world, country she will live in. Keep writing your truthful articles. God Bless you!
Articles like this one, that speak truth at a time when the internet and other media are spewing falsehoods as rapidly as possible, are rare in today’s confusing times.
We are so bombarded with opposing statements, opinions, and so-called science today that it is incredibly easy to be totally confused when trying to decide is true and what is not.
The majority of “Fact Checkers” are not helping, since they obviously work for one side (the same side) of every issue, so their checks only reflect the beliefs being pushed by those with their own opinions and beliefs.
Where does one go for the truth? The first place to find absolute truth is God’s Word. Holy Scriptures will never mislead you. God is never the author of confusion. (But we know who is.)
And don’t fall for the statement I keep hearing over and over from others that “God and the Bible are changing all the time.” God’s Word says He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” The Creator of the universe isn’t going to change His laws because too many don’t think they are fair, or refuse to follow them. That is something the governments of man does, not God.
Things are getting very serious, and time is getting very short. The world is in chaos, and it will only continue to get worse.
Our only hope is in our Holy God, and in our salvation through His son and our Lord, Jesus Christ, with the help and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
I am so grateful for the faithful remnant of Christians out there, like Joyce Shafer, and others who continue to encourage us each month by being unafraid to speak truth to us without having fear of repercussions or criticisms.
They know life is not a popularity contest, and it is more important to please God than to please man.
